I started out this week seriously in the mood for Christmas. I even did a little shopping. I think I've reconsidered the whole holiday thing though, and I just want my summer back. I am soooooooooo not a winter person, and my mouse hand is really cold, and my toes are white from lack of circulation, and I'm wrapped in blankets. Maybe I should move to Australia where I can have Christmas and summer too!

I've switched to another host because I was exceeding my bandwidth on my free host. I'm also redesigning it for my html class final project so I'm gonna have to relocate it for a couple of weeks. It should be pretty spiffy once I finish it though. I guess I could have uploaded my old site, but I'm feeling a little lazy at the moment.

My in-laws came for the week, and we had a lot of fun. Marilyn was sick with croup though, so she didn't enjoy the company at all. She just wanted her mommy and daddy. She's feeling a lot better now though, but she was just plain miserable. Yep, I do have a layout in the works.

Thanksgiving was a huge success though. Our food was yummy, and I even had a great time cooking things. My sis-in-law and mil did most of the work actually, so I got to do the fun baking stuff like pies and rolls. I didn't even have to clean the dishes afterwards!

Natalie Malan at PClayers designed the coolest Christmas kit (Sugar Cookie), and it's coming out tomorrow! It seriously has everything you need to scrap all your Christmas pictures, make cards, and also gift tags. I am sooo going to do my tags on the computer this year.

Anyway, I started looking through pictures to scrap, and I didn't have a single Christmas picture to scrap. I decided I'd do some cards instead of a layout, but I'm really not a card maker, or sender. I was going back through pictures to put on the card, when I saw this one. Not one I would ordinarily scrap, but I just had to use it for a layout.

so blogger is having issues and it's about to drive me nuts. It refuses to upload pictures, and it takes forever to post a blog post, but sometimes it does without telling you. Grrrrrr. I did manage to by pass the blogger image upload process and do it on my own though, so now I'm feeling kinda smart :)

When I went to bed last night I was officially caught up with all of my school work. I've got a month left in the semester, and things are starting to get a little crazy. Papers, projects, and finals are coming up soon. I can't believe I've made it this far though, I've successfully adjusted to my new life as a student, and I'm doing quite well.

I've decided I definitely need a new camera. I know I am not that bad of a photographer, and this weekend I took a ton of pictures of Marilyn, and every single one of them is a little blurry. Maybe I'll put one on my Christmas list (do grown-ups still get to have a list?)
