This evening Marilyn and I went up to a special place where hummingbirds hang out in the hundreds. I tried to get some good pictures but I think it was a little dark, and my video isn't that great, but here it is.
Yesterday was Bill's birthday and Mother's day. It wasn't really fair for either of us that we had to share the day, but we had a good time anyway. Had some friends over, went hiking, and Bill even got a little flight in.
Today I'm at my parents house for a post mother's day visit, and tonight Marilyn and I are going to go swimming. I'm hoping to go hiking with my brother too. I really miss my mountains now that I live is Salt Lake. Sure I've got mountains all around me, but they just aren't the same as the ones back home.

For the first time in her life Marilyn has been falling asleep in the most random places. I guess being sick and restless at night will do that to a kid, but I can't help but feel a little sorry for her.
Today while we were out strollerblading she fell asleep instead of chatting away like usual. Then later on while I was checking my email she climbed up onto my bed and fell asleep. That was just about the cutest thing ever!
Today's goal: fix jogging stroller tire again and go strollerblading
It so didn't really happen. It was 5pm today by the time I managed to get the house cleaned up, laundry done, and me dressed. Then I did my grocery shopping and got a new tire and tire inserts to prevent future flats. I really wish I would've know they existed a month ago :)
Anyway, but the time I got the tires fixed, the house cleaned up again, and Marilyn bundled up, it was nearly dark and Bill was home. So instead of strollerblading we went for a quick walk with Bill. I swear I can't finish a single thing all day!
For National Scrapbooking Day I did absolutely nothing. I didn't take a single picture, start (or finish) a single layout, post in a single forum, or buy a single product. How's that for team spirit!
Poor little Marilyn has been sick, and Bill was home, so I just didn't have time to get on the computer. I'm kinda lacking in the inspiration department too. I have a couple of little projects I'm working on, but nothing too interesting. I think it's time to start forcing myself to take more pictures too, because I seriously have nothing current to scrap. Tomorrow I'm going to start taking a "picture a day" again.

I had another layout picked up for publication!!!!! I'm so excited. I haven't taken it off my gallery page yet, so take a look if you want. It's the one titled "done".
